Sets
Periodically the U.S. Mint authorizes commemorative Silver Eagle sets. Examples include the 1993 “Philadelphia Set,” which was issued to commemorate the bicentennial of the striking of the first official United States coins at the Philadelphia Mint in 1793. Another example was a special 3-coin set issued to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Silver Eagle Coin program. This set included a special “Reverse Proof Silver Eagle Coin,” the regular proof coin, and the new “Burnished Uncirculated,” coin. Sets generally have issue limits which add to their numismatic value. Silver prices continuously updated to reflect market prices.
