Product Details

The 2012 1/2 oz Perth Mint Gold Kangaroo is an annual release in the Perth Mint's Gold Nugget/Kangaroo series. These coins showcase different species of Australian Kangaroos. Each coin is minted in 99.99% fine gold.

Featured on the obverse of each coin is the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen's name, the country of issue and the denomination all form a circle around the bust. The reverse of the coin changes annually to display a different kangaroo each year. For 2012, an Australian Red Kangaroo is shown standing in front a windmill. A wide open prairie scene is behind the kangaroo as well. "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO" is inscribed across the top rim of the coin, while the year, weight and purity are inscribed along the bottom.

Curious about how a bank wire transaction works?

Orders totaling $2000 or more qualify for payment by bank wire. To pay by bank wire, a temporary hold of 5% of the purchase price will be placed on the debit or credit card supplied at check out (10% for international customers). Bank wire instructions will be emailed once the hold has been authorized.

Bank wires for the full amount must be initiated by the end of the next business day. Once the wire payment is received, Gainesville Coins will release the hold of the 5% authorization fee.
