Product Details

Buy the 2006-W Silver Eagle 3-Coin Set. This set was produced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the U.S. Bullion Coinage Program. This three coin state is packaged in an elegant presentation box and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Each set includes one:

  • Proof 2006-W Silver Eagle
  • Reverse Proof 2006-P Silver Eagle
  • Burnished 2006-W Silver Eagle Coin

Each of the coins are encapsulated to preserve their condition.

Proof coins and reverse proof coins are minted through a special process employing burnished blanks that are stuck multiple times. For proof Silver American Eagles coins, this process creates a mirror-like finish with a frosted image or devices. As the name implies, Reverse-Proof Silver Eagles have a mirror like devices with frosted fields in the background. The Proof 2006 Silver Eagle comes with a “W” mintmark for West Point. The Reverse-Proof Silver Eagle comes with a “P” mintmark for Philadelphia.

The Burnished 2006-W Silver Eagle coin was also minted with a specialized process that used burnished coin blanks. The Burnished 2006 Silver Eagle also comes with the “W” mint mark for West Point.

1 oz American Silver Coins are IRA eligible.
