Details & Specifications

The stunning 2014 1/4 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf makes a wonderful addition to any collection. The world renown Royal Canadian Mint struck this coin from a quarter ounce of .9999 pure gold. This gold bullion coin is one of the various sizes of the Canadian Maple Leafs. The RCM has a reputation for being the first mint to produce .9999 gold bullion coins. The weight and purity of all Canadian Maple Leafs are guaranteed by the Canadian Government.

Showcasing the obverse of the coin is Susan Blunt's design of Queen Elizabeth II. A portrait of her majesty is surrounded by the legend, “ELIZABETH II, 2014, 20 DOLLARS.” The reverse features the world popular Canadian Maple Leaf design. Encircling the leaf are the inscriptions, “CANADA, 1/4 OZ OR PUR, FINE GOLD.” The purity of this gold bullion coin, “9999,” is featured on both sides of the reverse of the coin in exquisite detail.

The 2014 1/4 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf is recognized for its excellent craftsmanship, its intricate design, and .9999 gold bullion content. Gainesville Coins offers a variety of the Royal Canadian Mint's Maple Leaf coins in gold and silver.

Remarkable 1/4 oz coin!
I was really surprised by the detail rendered on this 1/4 oz gold coin. I thought the smaller size wouldn't be as detailed, but the RCM proved me wrong! I shouldn't be surprised though, since the RCM, in my opinion, produces the best coins in the world. I'm so glad Gainesville carries so many of their coins, and for such a low premium!

Highest Quality Gold
The Royal Canadian Mint produces gold coins of the highest quality and greatest purity available. I haven't found another gold coin that matches the gold Maple Leaf and I don't think I ever will. Even though they are worth the money, Gainesville has the lowest premium and that certainly helps when you're trying to invest without breaking the bank.
