These 1973-1976 Canadian $10 Dollar Silver Coins for the 1976 Montreal Olympics were made of silver with a fine metal content of 1.4453 troy oz. The obverse features the right profile of a young Elizabeth II. A maple leaf at bottom separates "Elizabeth II" and "Canada" and the year date.
The reverse will feature one of 14 designs emblematic of the 1976 Montreal Olympic games, with the Olympic logo at top and the legend "Olympiade XXI Olympiad." The providence and year, "Montreal 1976" are on the upper left, and the denomination of 10 dollars is at bottom.
