The Mexican Silver Libertad is the official silver bullion coin by the National Mint of Mexico, also known as Casa de Moneda de Mexico. The Mexican Silver Libertad has been minted since 1982 and has seen several distinct style changes. From 1982-1989 the obverse depicts the Mexican Coat of arms. From 2000 on, the obverse depicts the Mexican Coat of arms surrounded by national heraldic designs. From 1982-1995 the reverse depicts a front-facing winged Goddess Victoria.
