The American Silver Eagle is the official silver bullion coin of the United States. Every Silver Eagle is struck from 99.9% pure silver and backed by the U.S. Government. These 2010 Early Release Silver Eagles have been graded MS69 by NGC, just one point shy of a perfect score. The "Early Release" designation means that these coins were received and graded by NGC within the first 30 days of its release.
The obverse bears the unforgettable Walking Liberty design by A.A. Weinman, in which Liberty gracefully strides toward a rising sun. The legend "LIBERTY" is inscribed along the top rim while "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed on the bottom right. The mintage year also appears at Liberty's feet. Created by John Mercanti, the reverse portrays a heraldic eagle with its wings outstretched and its beak clutching the " E PLURIBUS UNUM" banner. It also carries the weight, denomination, and country of origin.
