The obverse shows the left profile of King George V wearing a crown, designed by E. B. MacKennal. The king’s name and titles appear around the bust in Latin abbreviations. “George V By the Grace of God King and Emperor of India.”
The reverse features “25 Cents Canada” in the middle, with the date immediately below and separated by a horizontal line. A wreath of maple leaves surround the edge, with a crown at the very top.
