Fifth in a planned series of six Canadian coins celebrating the Canada wildlife, the 2013 Pronghorn Antelope 1 oz Silver Coin from the Royal Canadian Mint is 1 oz of .9999 ultra fine silver. This coin's mintage will be limited to one million, and is minted to the same standards as the famous Maple Leaf silver bullion coin.
The obverse carries a face value of $5 and features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt. The reverse showcases the illustration of a Pronghorn Antelope on a hillside, created by Canadian artist Emily Damstra and bearing her initials on the bottom-left. The designation, "9999," next to the antelope refers to the 99.99% Pure Silver in the coin. The lower border of the coin carries the legend, "Fine Silver 1 OZ Argent Pur."
