Buy Austria 25 Schilling Silver Coin - Random Dates (.3344 oz of Silver)
These historical Austria 25 Schilling Silver Coins contain .3344 ounces of silver and were first issued between 1924 through 1938. They were later reissued after WWII in 1945, with the year 2002 seeing the end of the Shilling in circulation. These coins were made for British Commonwealth countries and used as legal tender with a face value of 25 schillings. Those days, however, are gone, and all currency in Austria has since changed over to the Euro.
The obverse has a centered inscription that reads, “25 Schilling,” surrounded by 10 Coats of Arms and circumvented with a, “Republik, Osterreich,” inscription. The reverse featured here in the stock photo displays the Vienna Stock Exchange building, one of the world's oldest stock exchanges, which was built by T. Hansen in 1771. "Wiener Borse," the name of the Vienna Stock Exchange, encircles the top, while the dates are located below the building.
Dates and designs on coins may vary, and will be chosen according to available stock at Gainesville Coins.
