The 1937-1945 Philippines 10 Centavos Silver Coins were authorized by the U.S. government when the Philippines were a US territory. These coins contain .0482 oz of real silver with a diameter of 17 mm and a thickness of 1.26 mm. The Silver 10 Centavos were legal tender in the Philippines.

The obverse of the coin has an emblem of an eagle above a shield. The country "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is spread across the top of the coin, while the year-date is on the bottom. The reverse showcases an image of Liberty striking a hammer on an anvil, while a volcano smokes in the background. The denomination is struck along the top rim of the coin, while the country "FILIPINAS" is located on the bottom.
