Buy 2015 American Silver Eagle NGC MS70 Early Release
The American Silver Eagle has been a fixture in the U.S. Mint catalog for nearly 30 years, and has in many ways become the feature product offered by the Mint. These beloved .999 fine silver coins are back for 2015! This 2015 American Silver Eagle has even been graded by the expert staff at Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), receiving the highest possible grade of MS70! This 1 oz silver coin was also designated an Early Release, meaning NGC secured the coin for grading within 30 days of its initial issue.
The obverse is an adaptation of Adolph Weinman's Walking Liberty design. Miss Liberty is depicted in procession to the left, holding a bouquet of olive branches and oak boughs in her left arm as her right arm reaches out to greet the new era unfolding before her. Fittingly, the radiant sun is rising above the horizon in the bottom-left corner. The legend "LIBERTY" runs along the top half of the coin's rim. The year-date "2015" is placed at the bottom rim, while the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" is placed to Liberty's right.
Former U.S. Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti designed the reverse, showing an American bald eagle in heraldic pose. A ribbon clasped in the eagle's beak reads "E PLURIBUS UNUM," while it holds arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. Thirteen stars arranged in an upside-down triangle appear above the eagle's head. "1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR" is inscribed along the bottom half of the rim, while the issuing nation "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" runs across the top half of the rim.
This 2015 American Silver Eagle is not only encapsulated by NGC with the Statue of Liberty label, but also has the Early Release designation that collectors covet. On top of it all, its MS70 grade means that the coin is absolutely flawless! This coin ships safely ensconced in NGC's sonically sealed, hard plastic holder, helping to identify the coin and preserve its pristine condition.
