The specifications "1/10 OZ. FINE GOLD~5 DOLLARS" is inscribed at the bottom rim. The issuing country is indicated at the top rim, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA." National mottoes "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are placed to the right and left of the eagles, respectively.
