Check out the latest exclusive product from Gainesville Coins, the U.S. Air Force F-15 1 oz Silver Round presented by Guy Harvey! In partnership with the famous artist, this .999 fine silver round celebrates the most iconic fighter jet of the United States Air Force, the F-15 Strike Eagle. In addition to a fantastic design, each round contains 1 troy ounce of pure silver by weight.

More About the F-15

The F-15E Strike Eagle is a tactical fighter aircraft that was developed by the company that became Boeing, formerly known as McDonnell Douglas. It first became operational in 1989.

This two-seat craft accommodates a weapons systems officer (WSO) in addition to the pilot. Incredibly, it can travel more than twice the speed of sound at 1,875 miles per hour!

Thanks to a sturdy and ingenious design, the F-15E has a very long lifetime. Military experts expect that the Strike Eagle will continue to be used by the Air Force well into the next decade. As of yet, no replacement for the model is being planned by the USAF.

Over the years, these aircraft have been sold to American allies such as Israel and South Korea.

The F-15E Strike Eagle is especially adept at flying at low altitude and in dark or otherwise poor-weather conditions. However, it is also versatile and has extensive air-to-surface capabilities.

In terms of weapons, the aircraft is equipped with 20-mm cannons as well as bombs, missiles, and other munitions.

The F-15E saw its first extensive action in the Gulf War of the early 1990s. Since then, they have been used frequently in the fight against the so-called Islamic State (ISIS or ISIL).

In an exclusive partnership with the United States Air Force and Guy Harvey, Gainesville Coins is honored to bring the F-15E Strike Eagle to a silver coin!

Design and Specifications

Each coin is struck from .999 fine silver and contains one troy ounce of pure silver by weight. The incredible realism of the coin's design is accentuated by colorized elements on both the obverse and reverse sides.

An image of an F-15 soaring high above rocky terrain appears on the front of the round. It is flanked by stars and stripes along the rim. The inscription above reads "AIM HIGH. FLY - FIGHT - WIN," the latest motto of the USAF. "U.S. AIR FORCEā„¢" is inscribed at the bottom rim.

On the reverse side, a detailed rendering of an American bald eagle with its wings spread is shown. A banner held by the eagle's talons reads "UNITED STATES AIR FORCE" while stars and radiant light fill the background. The official Air Force logo and the Guy Harvey signature are placed on either side of the majestic eagle. Rim inscriptions include the weight and purity "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER."

Guy Harvey, the United States Air Force, and Gainesville Coins are all proud to bring you this beautiful silver round commemorating the F-15 Strike Eagle. It is undeniably the most well-known fighter jet in the world, and now you can enjoy it on .999 fine silver bullion! Add one to your collection today!
