Buy 2019 1/10 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coin - Brilliant Uncirculated

There's good reason Austrian Philharmonic coins dominate the European market, and are among the most trusted bullion coins anywhere abroad.

These one-tenth ounce (1/10 troy oz) gold coins are legal tender of Austria, and minted by one of the most historic coining facilities in continental Europe, the Austrian Mint.

Even better, the design pays tribute to the world-famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The "Gold Philly" series is also celebrating its 30th birthday, first issued in 1989!

PHILHARMONIC COIN DESIGN

Both sides of the coin were designed by artist Thomas Pesendorfer. The reverse (tails) shows a cleverly-arranged group of orchestral instruments. The name of the series (and the orchestra) is inscribed in Gothic typeface across the top rim, reading "WIENER PHILHARMONIKER." Its edge uses a reeded pattern.

The obverse depicts the front view of the Musikverein music hall's impressive pipe organ. The coin specifications "1/10 UNZE GOLD 999.9" is placed just below, while other inscriptions include the year-date "2019," the denomination "10 EURO," and the issuing country "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" (Republic of Austria in German).

BEST-SELLING EUROPEAN GOLD COIN

Rivaled in regional popularity only by the Gold Britannia of the Royal Mint, the Gold Philharmonic continues to be an important gold investment product globally. Find out how to add one to your self-directed IRA or your gold coin collection!
