Buy 2020 Australia 1 oz Silver Mouse Lunar Coin | Perth Mint (BU in Capsule)
The 2020 Silver Lunar Year of the Mouse 1 oz coin marks an historic occasion - the start of the new Series 3 of Chinese Zodiac coins from the Perth Mint! The Perth Mint's Lunar New Year coins in silver and gold are the world's favorite Chinese New Year precious metal coins.
This year's limited mintage 1oz silver coin is designed by artist Ing Ing Jong, who has designed many hit coins at the Perth Mint. The 2020 Lunar Mouse 1oz silver coin features two adorable mice who have climbed a cornstalk for a snack. The Chinese character for mouse is prominently displayed to the right of the scene, above the word Mouse and the year date 2020.
The obverse of the coin, like all Australian coins, displays the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. In addition to being the monarch of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth holds ceremonial title of Queen of Australia (among other titles). Reflecting that role, the words "Elizabeth II Australia" appear above her image on this coin, with the inscriptions "1oz .9999 Ag 1 Dollar" along the bottom.
As always, the 1 oz 2020 Perth Mint Lunar Mouse silver coin is restricted to a total of 300,000 coins worldwide. While this may seem like a lot, this is a global mintage. Previous 1oz Silver Lunar coins have rapidly sold out, and this year will be no different.
So act quickly, and catch these lovable little mice before they disappear!
