Minted in Mexico City they are composed of 90% gold and 10% copper with a total fine gold content of 0.0482 oz. The mixture provides the coins excellent durability, allowing them to withstand decades of circulation.

The obverse of the coin features a semi-circle shaped branch with, "Dos Pesos," inscribed inside, along with the year it was minted at the top. The reverse shows the Mexican coat of arms with, "Estados Unidos Mexicanos," around the top outer edge of the coin.

Bought 8. Arrived with no hassles. Purchase process is a bit cumbersome, but the coins themselves were as advertised. All from 1945. No excessive wear, and very small. Very good price for a small fractional coin.
