Buy 1985 Canadian National Parks Silver Dollar (.375 oz of Silver)

This Canadian silver commemorative coin was minted in 1985 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Canada's first national park. Each coin is struck at the Royal Canadian mint from .500 fine silver, contains .375 troy oz of pure silver and is 36mm in diameter. These coins are legal tender in Canada and have a face value of one dollar. They come in a handsome RCM presentation box.

The obverse of this special issue silver coin features the Arnold Machin profile of a young Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen's name, country of issue, and the motto "D.G. REGINA" are inscribed along the rim. The reverse depicts a moose walking in shallow water with a stunning forest and mountain range in the background. The denomination is struck on the bottom and 1885-1985 is located above, denoting the centennial of Canada's first national park.

The wild moose can weigh up to 2,000 lbs and pose a threat to motorists along the northern US and in Canada. Don't miss your chance to own this stunning collectible silver coin from the prestigious Royal Canadian mint. Pure silver coins 24/7 on GainesvilleCoins.com!
