Reverse

The 2021 Silver Year of the Ox 1 oz coin features a rustic scene by Perth Mint artist Ing Jong. It portrays a mother ox and her adoring calf, standing beneath a budding cherry tree. The word "Ox" is written in Chinese and English above the year date 2021 near the center of the coin. The artist's initials "IJ" appear on the right front hoof of the mother ox. Farm fields and a distant village are shown to the left of the coin.

Obverse

The Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse of the 2021 Lunar Ox Series 3 silver bullion coin. The inscriptions "Elizabeth II" and "Australia" occupy the top half of the coin's rim. The "1 oz .9999 Ag" on the lower left rim declares the coin's weight and purity, while the denomination "1 Dollar" is displayed on the lower right.
