A stylized compass is placed between them. In the distance, action scenes of a ship at sea, outer space, and a raft on a river are visible. The series name "FRONTIERS" is boldly inscribed at the bottom rim. The round's composition is indicated just below, reading "2020 1 OZ .999 SILVER." Around the outside of the rim, the inscription captures the theme of the design, reading "EXPLORING NEW HORIZONS ON EARTH AND BEYOND."
