In addition to writing online content, Joshua has published a variety of history books focusing on numismatic and Tampa Bay history, including Images of America: The United States Mint in Philadelphia, Images of America: Tampa's Carrollwood, Images of Modern America: Tampa Bay Landmarks and Attractions, and Images of Modern America: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Furthermore, much of his journalistic work has appeared in The Tampa Bay Times, Philadelphia Magazine, and The Providence Journal. He has won several Numismatic Literary Guild Awards for his work, including Best New Writer (2015), Best Coin Article (2016), and Best Paper Money Article (2017).
