American Gold Eagles offer a convenient way to quickly and easily add gold to your precious metals portfolio. Gainesville Coins offers $50 1 oz American Gold Eagles in random dates of our choice dependent on our inventory at the time of your purchase. American Gold Eagles are minted from gold exclusively mined in the U.S., in accordance with the Gold Bullion Act of 1985. They are official gold bullion coins of the U.S. government.

American Gold Eagles were first minted in 1986 by the U.S. Government Mint. She strides toward you draped in flowing garments, and carries a torch and olive branch.

The reverse depicts a family of American bald eagles. The male is arriving to the nest, which houses his female mate and hatchlings. The male eagle carries an olive branch while the female wraps her long wings around the young.

Customer Service

Because I live on a sailboat and constantly travel, I am a unique and challenging customer. Gainesville Coins has worked with me on several transactions (up to 162 coins) and made each purchase effortless. Their attention to customer service and flexibility make them the obvious choice for precious metal investments of any kind. Even in a very competitive market, I would not hesitate to recommend Gainesville Coins over other dealers because the service is what matters to me.

Best way to get gold American Eagles.

Whenever GC has this option available to purchase American Eagles I will try to take advantage of the superb discount in premium. The more I collect gold coin bullion, the more I appreciate the American Eagles. Early on I was not that impressed, but they really are pretty decent coins. The premiums are usually the biggest deterrent, but with this option, it's worth the buy.
