The familiar image of Lady Liberty created by Adolph Weinman is found on the obverse. Known as "Walking Liberty," this image first appeared on the U.S. half dollar in 1916. Lady Liberty gracefully strides toward the rising sun while carrying oak and laurel. Her dress is designed like the American flag. "LIBERTY" stretches across the top rim and the date "2021" is found near the bottom of the coin.
