The beloved 2021 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf - Brilliant Uncirculated is back for 2021. Each coin is struck from extra-pure .9999 fine silver, meaning they are 99.99% pure. The actual silver weight (ASW) is 1 troy ounce of pure silver. These coins are Canadian legal tender with a face value (denomination) of 5 Dollars.

The reverse design features the unmistakable national symbol of Canada, the maple leaf. The design was created by artist Walter Ott more than four decades ago. A much smaller maple leaf privy mark is found below. This micro-engraving has a very tiny "21" etched within the leaf, and is virtually impossible to fake. Meanwhile the purity "9999" is found on either side of the main maple leaf image. On the obverse, Susanna Blunt's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is shown facing toward the right. The queen's name is inscribed above. The bottom rim includes inscriptions for the denomination and year of issue, reading "5 DOLLARS 2021" The edge is reeded. Both sides of the design also feature an eye-pleasing radial line finish. This not only serves aesthetic purposes for a Brilliant Uncirculated coin but also doubles as another strong anti-counterfeiting measure.
